Let's be really clear. If I had not met Heather I wouldn't have started knitting a couple years ago, wouldn't have kept at it, wouldn't have knitting as a vital creative place in my life, and wouldn't have some of the best people I know as friends. While she patiently helps to correct knitting errors and impart knowledge she gently opens up the places within me that can learn, grow, and create. I have no doubt that any monetary support I give Heather's yarn shop will be triply repaid - in friendship, guidance, inspiration, and love for craft and the community it creates.

Heather is the best.  A true fiber artist, her knowledge and expertise is invaluable.  After just one knitting lesson, I was hooked.  I can't say enough about how kind and patient she is. Under her tutelage, I have grown from knowing one stitch to knitting sweaters.  Love her!

I am so grateful to Heather. She gracefully taught me how to knit and helped me understand how to "read" my stitches. She is so patient! I joined her Tuesday knitting group when I retired 5 years ago and have made lifelong friends!!! Under Heather's instruction I have advanced from garter stitch lap blankets to socks and sweaters!!! So happy I learned to knit but happier I met Heather!!!
